Equal Highs / Equal Lows

Two or more swing points at nearly the same price — an unusually rich liquidity pool and a common draw for price.

What it is

When multiple swing highs (or lows) form within a few ticks of each other, the stops behind them stack into one concentrated pool. Markets rarely leave these untouched: equal highs and lows act like magnets that price eventually runs.

Why it matters

Equal highs above your long are a take-profit zone, not a hold-through zone. Expect the sweep — don't donate your open profit to it.

NQ example REAL SCENARIO

Tuesday and Wednesday NQ highs print within 2 points of each other. Thursday's rally stalls exactly 5 points above them and reverses 60 — the pool was the destination.
