Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and Digital Edge Lab (“DEL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Digital Edge Lab website, dashboard, lessons, Edge Engine chart-analysis tool, journal, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, browsing the Service, or clicking “I agree,” you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Notice, Educational Disclaimer, and Risk Disclosure, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 11; continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. Notify us immediately at support@digitaledgelab.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, is used to violate these Terms, or is inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Digital Edge Lab offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” subscription tier with expanded features, higher daily usage limits, and additional content. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.

• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Pro access through that period.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused features.
• Price changes. We may change subscription pricing prospectively with advance notice; changes will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or downgrade your account to the free tier until payment succeeds.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, sublicense, or provide account access to anyone other than yourself;
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or use automated means to extract content, data, or Edge Engine outputs from the Service;
• Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
• Use the Service to provide investment advice, portfolio management, or signals to third parties for compensation without our prior written consent;
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, paywalls, or access controls; or
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service, including through excessive automated requests.

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all lessons, strategy write-ups, video content, software, the Edge Engine, design, and trademarks (including the Digital Edge Lab name and logo), is owned by DEL or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial, educational use. You retain ownership of the chart images, journal entries, and other content you upload (“User Content”), and you grant us a license to host, process, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security or derivative, or an offer of brokerage, advisory, or money-management services. Digital Edge Lab is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor, and nothing in the Service should be construed as such registration or endorsement. THE SERVICE, INCLUDING THE EDGE ENGINE, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ANALYSIS, GRADE, OR OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR PROFITABLE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEL AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN TRADING AND INVESTMENT DECISIONS.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6 through 8 and 10) will survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. 11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or our practices. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable additional notice (such as an email or in-app notice). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
