Privacy Notice
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains what information Digital Edge Lab (“DEL,” “we,” “us”) collects through the Service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, dashboard, lessons, Edge Engine, and journal features (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Name and email address you provide, or that we receive from Google when you sign in with Google;
- Account tier (Free/Pro), role, and subscription/billing status;
- Progress data such as lesson completions, quiz scores, streaks, XP, and skill tier.
Usage information
- Pages visited, features used, videos watched, and daily Edge Engine usage counts;
- Device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP;
- Log data such as timestamps and error reports, used to keep the Service running reliably.
Uploaded chart images and journal content
When you use the Edge Engine, you upload a chart image (and optionally an instrument, timeframe, or note) for automated analysis. We store the image, the analysis result, and any journal entries you create (including instrument, direction, entry/exit levels, screenshots, and notes) so you can review your history and track progress over time. Do not upload chart images or notes that contain personal information about other people or that you do not have the right to share.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status and renewal date) from Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including lessons, quizzes, the Edge Engine, and the journal;
- To process subscriptions, enforce usage limits by tier, and manage your account;
- To personalize your experience, such as tracking XP, streaks, and skill tier;
- To send transactional communications (e.g., billing receipts, account notices) and, where you have opted in, product updates;
- To monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded chart images or journal content to train models on behalf of other users.
3. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage of the Service and improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent you from staying signed in.
4. Third Parties We Share Data With
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing. Stripe processes your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic — when you submit a chart image to the Edge Engine, the image and any accompanying note are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate the analysis. Anthropic processes this data to return a result to the Service under its own data-handling terms; DEL does not permit this data to be used to train Anthropic’s general-purpose models except as Anthropic’s API terms otherwise provide.
- Hosting & storage providers — infrastructure partners that host our database, application, and uploaded files.
- Authentication providers — Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of DEL or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Chart images, journal entries, and quiz history are retained as part of your account history until you delete them or close your account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@digitaledgelab.com.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can access and update most account information directly in your account settings. For any other request, contact us at privacy@digitaledgelab.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@digitaledgelab.com and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable additional notice.
